O Come Let Us Adore Him

this was overwhelmingly too hysterical not to share

Welcome Home Cliff Lee

Well, its not even time to head down to Clearwater, Florida for pre-season spring training but I'm already amped for baseball season!

Losing my husband Jayson Werth to the Nationals was a pretty big dagger to my bleeding red heart but as of 12:18 am I was thinking "Jayson Who?"

Welcome back Cliff Lee.
You took less money than other teams were offering because you know your worth in fan appreciation is equal if not more to what you are getting paid (which by no means is a chunk of change worth scoffing at)

Bottom Line: Cliff Lee wears Red and White. Suck it SKANKees :)

oh.em.gee

so i haven't posted in a month.
sorry to my hundreds and hundreds of dedicated followers for not giving you all the pleasure
of my humor and wit for such a span of time indecent for any professional blogger
(this, of course, is sarcasm)

i have an issue. im getting right to the point.
STOP JUDGING ME AND RIDICULING ME FOR LIVING MY LIFE HOW I WANT!!!!

woo, now that that's out of the way, let me delve deeper into the specifics.

i was 17 when my first friend had a baby. i was 18 when my first friend got married.
i went to college and i drank beer and did awesome stuff.
i was ridiculed by said friend with baby because i was
"
unwilling to go out of my way to plan get-togethers around her schedule
because its not like i had a
real job and a family"
WOW. YEP. this is the shit i had to deal with.
and am still dealing with
.

here's what it comes down to. i like my freedom.
i like/love/am-not-willing-to-give-up my ability
to pick up my life for a week and take an RV trip to Alabama for a Penn State football game.
I am not willing to give up the ability to go to Las Vegas for 6 days.
I am not willing to give up the ability to drop 1100 dollars on a big screen TV.
I am not willing to give up the ability to drop a grand on 8 weeks worth of summer concert tours.

NO! I wont do it. I wont be made to feel guilty that I can.
Stop ridiculing me. Stop judging me.
I didn't judge you when you decided to have children as a teenager.
I didnt judge you when you decided to start a family in your early 20s.
Chances are, I was one of the first to hold your child.
Chances are, I was in or at your wedding.

Let me have me freedom.
Let me spend every other weekend at Penn State football games.
Let me live for my weekends.
Let me do whatever I damn well please.
Because I can.
Because I chose to.
Because when you made your choices, I was there to support you
and just because I didn't give up my freedoms to do the same,
does not make you any better than me and it does not make me any less of a human being.
Enjoy your kids! Enjoy your marriage!
I am and always will be happy for you.
But by God, let me enjoy my life.
My life.
The one that I want.
The one that is not any better or worse than yours.
It's mine and it's what makes me happy!
Do not try to make me feel guilty because i don't want a ring on my finger or a baby monitor by my bed.

We make our own choices. Live with yours and I'll live with mine.
